The World As I See It

So I have decided to make a post based on how I see the world going in the next bit. So in my economics class at school were doing research papers on the Economy and different things affecting it. I choose to do mine on gas prices and that has what led to me making this post. So here is my prediction of what is going to happen in the U.S. and the World in the next few years.

Starting within the next few months the U.S. national gas price is going to climb to around 5 dollars a gallon. This might not seem horrible for some of you but it's not the actual price of gas that is so scary it's what happens when it goes up that high. With gas prices climbing we have to worry about food and other goods increasing in price. This also affects how much we as Americans spend. With things going up in price people will begin to hold on to there money and not spend it which is not what the economy in the U.S. needs right now in the hard economic times. Because there is no spending on extra goods we will see the country go into a depression worse than what we see. I would not be surprised if during this time we saw the government start to fall apart because of the national debt. If it does collapse it will come close to it unless during the 2012 elections we elect a president that is smart with money. cough cough Mitt Romney. Unless we see a change in how things are run in the country it will fall apart because the dollar is decreasing in value and is going to be worthless. What I think needs to happen with money is we need to stop the Obama solution which is to print more, and start going back to the Gold standard. If we went back to the gold standard and all of the money we had was backed up by gold the dollar wouldn't suffer so bad. Back to the gas prices what needs to happen is the country needs to stop exporting oil, because we export enough that if we stopped doing it we would be able to supply our own country with oil.

As for how the World is going to go in the next few years I have one word to describe it WAR. Tension between nations is getting worse and is going to explode here in the next bit. The demand for oil is growing in every country, and the countries that supply the world with most of it's oil are becoming unstable because of civil revolutions in there countries. Just look at the stuff in Egypt. You might think that the our country is fine but we are far from it. Things in Wisconsin, Detroit, Arizona, and California are not going so good because of issues that we have with each other. In Wisconsin the Governor has taken it into his hands to fix the State debt I agree he should do this but not by firing everyone the state is going to suffer because of this. With teachers on strike none of the kids are going to go to school which means the parents have to stay home and watch them which means they aren't working and making money.

This is just a little prediction of what I think is going to happen in the World over the next little bit.

October 2010

So just a quick update in my life. Some of the recent things going on in my life from the begining of summer to now are: In june I started playing Football for the Maple Mountain football team. So the summer months and now have been mostly dedicated to Football. In August the first day of conditioning week which is technically the first day of football I did a sharp turn and ended up tearing two of the ligaments in my ankle and had to go through physical therapy to get back to playing Football so I was out for 4 weeks. We went 0-7 up untill 2 weeks ago when we won the first ever varsity football game in school history and since then we have beaten Ogden. This next week we play Spanish Fork. Another Big thing that has happened to me was I got in a car wreck and totaled are taurus luckily me and the other driver were fine and the day after the wreck I wasn't sore or anything and was able to play in the game the next day. So this is just a quick update in my life.

Update on my life

So here is how my life is going these days. I am currently training for the Wasatch Back Relay. This will be my 3rd time running it. I am hoping this year I can have my mile time down around a 9 minute mile. I was promoted to a Quality Supervisor at Western Wats. So this is just a quick update on my life.

October 2009

So here is a update on how things are going in my life. One of the latest things is I finished the St George marathon. I'm not to happy with the time I got. I think I will run another one. My dad and I are probably going to run the Ogden marathon. Another thing is I am signed up to run the Wasatch Back Relay this next year in 2010. So that is the update.

Story

So here is the story. As you may now there is a dance coming up called homecoming. I was planning on asking one of my closer friends that was a girl so I was planning on asking her so I decided how i was going to do it. I was going to trash her room. So I had it all planned and so I called her parents to ask them to get her out of the house so her dad said to come on Saturday at 3 so my friend Scott and me were going to go then and so I went and picked him up at 2:45 and we were just about to leave my house when I got letter from this girl she had her brother deliver it and so I read it and it said that she had found out from rumor (aka her parents) that I was going to ask her. She went on to say that you couldn't just go as friends that you had to go as a couple. after that it said that she wanted some guy from Springville or Mapleton to ask her. Just so you know we are at a brand new school so the chance of a guy asking her from Springville or Mapleton is pretty slim because no guy is going to ask a girl he doesn't even know. After that she went on to say that she thought it would be awkward if we went together to the dance. She also said that she wanted it to go back to normal and that she didn't want it to be awkward. After that she said that it would be best if i went with different girl to the dance.
After I read it as you remember I was with my friend Scott so I let him read it and we both started laughing at the letter because of how dumb it was and how shallow it was. So that night I had my other close friends come over and read it and they laughed at it to. So I decided that I was going to ask a different girl a different friend so I asked that girl and I am happy I'm going with that girl instead because I think I will have a lot better time with that girl.
Just so you know this girl is in my ward. So the week after this happened we had mutual on Tuesday so i had made up my mind that I was going to just ignore her because I didn't want to say something rude and make her cry so I just ignored her the whole time and after I got a text from her that said she was mad at me because I didn't even talk to her the whole time and that she wanted to talk tome and explain herself to me. So it was kind of bugging me because the letter didn't really make a lot of since so I had one of my friends talk to her about it and see why she said no. So they found out it was because her parents put her up to it which doesn't make a lot of since because they let her older brother date people in the ward.
So we went back and forth setting dates and she always found a way out of it. So one day I was texting her saying a time and a place and I suggested our church and she said her mom wouldn't let her go there so I replied back to her and said so your mom isn't letting you go to church now and she said no and she said her mom had reasons and the only place she could meet me was at her house which would of been awkward for me to meet at her house. So I asked why her mom wouldn't let her meet me at her at the church. So a few minutes later I got a call from her and I said to myself I don't want to deal with her right now plus I was at work so I couldn't answer my phone. So she left me a voicemail so I checked my voicemail and it was her mother getting after me for saying it would be awkward to meet at her house she also said that she wasn't going to get me anywhere except her house. So I was mad at this point because she was so scared to face me face to face that she had her mom call me.
So this is why you don't ask a shallow girl who thinks every guy within a mile radius of her to a dance. So this is a lesson learned.

Update

I would just like to let everyone know that my dad and I are running the St George Marathon in October so that is one of the newest things. Also school starts in about a week I am dreading school starting in a week because i have AP Us studies that should be fun and then right after that with the same teacher i have government i hope i like that teacher because I'm going to see him a lot on b days. I am also taking anatomy and physiology, drawing, photography, film studies, social dance (again), English, and math. That's all the ones I can remember right now. I am also starting cross country at a brand new school which should be really cool.

Well it's been a while since i updated my blog so i'm going to give you all and update recently I decided that I would tryout for the basketball team and i didn't make it I blame my ankle that always seems to get in the way because first day of tryouts at the beginning we split up into different drills and i ended up popping out of the key and spranged my ankle which meant that I couldn't run later and i ended up in so much pain.
So after that i decided that I wanted to continue running and train for the painters half marathon in january. So there is the update since last time.
